THE 2026 GPE LOGO CONTEST IS OPEN. YES, ALREADY.

It's that time again. We need a logo for 2026, and as usual it will come from one of you: the weirdos, the night (or morning!) owls, the people who have opinions about negative space and kerning and cones. This is your shot to put your art on hundreds of backs across the playa. No small thing.
WHAT YOUR DESIGN NEEDS
Vector files only. No exceptions, no workarounds, no "can you just upscale this jpeg."
Required elements:
- "Gate, Perimeter, & Exodus"
- "Black Rock City"
- A lock
- A key
- The number 13
Skulls aren't mandatory. But c'mon.

Do you see it? Circles. So many circles. Round badges, circular seals, disc-shaped everything.
This is your reminder that the logo does not have to be a circle. It never did. This isn't a rule we forgot to mention, it's a creative door that has been standing open for years and very few people have walked through it. Walk through it!
Also: high contrast, please. Simple backgrounds. This thing isn't just vanity, it's functional. If it looks like a random mandala at 3am flying across the playa on a Perimeter truck, we can't use it.
THE DATES
March 2: Contest opens (that's today, get going)
March 22, midnight PST: Submissions close. Hard stop.
After that: Community vote, final call from Gate Management, and then.... the pre-event sale can launch!
